We use Google everyday for research but we do not know some Google tricks, funny searches and games that Google provides hidden behind its vast layers of database. Ever wonder what these Google tricks are used for? Well, I would simply say that it’s just for fun to show your friends your geeky side just like some computer tips to impress them. From functional to fun: The all-powerful search engine is packed with more cool Google tricks than you realized. Let begins:
1. Do A Barrel Roll Trick:
Go to Google.com and simply type in the search box “do a barrel roll” (without the quotation mark) into Google, click “search”, and your browser window will do a 360-degree spin.
2. Google Gravity Trick:
Type in “Google Gravity ” in their homepage and see how gravity bring Google to its knees. Google Gravity shatters the search engine into pieces that you can drag and bounce around your screen.
3. Zerg Rush Trick:
Type “zerg rush” in the search bar and prepare to defend your browser against hordes of the letter ‘o’ in Google’s logo, which will start to slowly eats up the whole search results leaving nothing. They’re apparently undefeatable, but you can try to fight them off by clicking on them and share your high score on Google +.
4. Google Sky Trick:
Type “Google Sky” in the search bar and you can fly through space using Google sky. You can see space objects like stars, constellations, galaxies, planets, Earth’s moon etc via Google sky.
5. Atari Breakout Trick:
Go to Google images and type in “Atari Breakout.” and you can play Bricks Game. The images turn into bricks and you can move the bar along the bottom of the screen to break them. Challenge on!
6. Set Timer Trick:
If you need to time yourself for an appointment in less than five minutes, there are Google tricks to help you with that. Type “set timer for x amount of time” and the search engine will pull up a timer at the top of the screen.
7. Read Image Trick:
This is one of the most useful Google tricks. You can “reverse image search” at images.google.com by clicking the camera icon, uploading an image, and then getting results of pictures that look similar. (Make sure you’re OK with your photos floating around the web first.)
8. Tilt Page Trick:
Type “tilt” in the search bar on Google and see how your page tilts a little .
9. Go Back In Time Trick:
Ever wondered how an old web pages looked like? Google lets you see what it looked like back in the day. Just type “Google in 1998” into the search bar and you’ll be brought back in time.
10. Different Planet Trip Trick:
You can spend hours exploring the earth street view on Google Maps. You can also get a tour view of another planet like going to Google Mars to explore the planet Mars.
